Compensation Board. ‌ Where a permanent employee is on a claim recognized by the Workers' Compensation Board, which claim arose as a result of employment with the Employer, the employee shall be entitled to leave at his/her regular rate of pay, up to a maximum of the outstanding sick leave entitlement of the employee. Employees who so elect shall be deducted up to twenty-five percent (25%) of a day from their banked sick leave credits for each day on a Workers' Compensation Board claim until such time as the banked sick time is exhausted. Where an employee elects to claim leave with pay under this article, the compensation payable by the Workers' Compensation Board shall be remitted to the Employer.
