Compensation for Course. 11.6.1 When a course(s) to be taught by an adjunct professor is canceled twenty- five (25) days or fewer before the first class meeting in the Fall semester or fourteen (14) days or fewer before the first class meeting in the Spring semester, or seven (7) days or fewer before the first class meeting in the Summer term, the University shall pay the adjunct professor assigned to teach such a course(s) ten percent (10%) of the stipulated salary that individual was to be paid for such course(s) as compensatory salary. 11.6.2 If a course is cancelled more than twenty-five (25) days before the first class meeting in the Fall semester or fourteen (14) days before the first class meeting in the Spring semester, or seven (7) days before the first class meeting in the Summer term, no compensatory salary is owed to the adjunct professor. 11.6.3 When a course(s) to be taught by an adjunct professor is canceled the day before the first class meeting, the University shall pay the adjunct professor assigned to teach such a course(s) fifteen percent (15%) of the stipulated salary that individual was to be paid for such course(s) as compensatory salary.
