Compensation to the Contractor. 1. The DISTRICT shall compensate the CONTRACTOR as follows: a. The DISTRICT agrees to pay the CONTRACTOR <<PAY INCREMENT AMOUNT>> per <<PAY INCREMENT>> NOT TO EXCEED $<<NOT TO EXCEED AMOUNT>> for services performed pursuant to this AGREEMENT. b. CONTRACTOR shall invoice costs monthly, or after completion of services, whichever comes first, for the services provided pursuant to this AGREEMENT from the time the CONTRACTOR begins work on the PROJECT. All costs must be supported by an invoice, receipt, or other acceptable documentation as determined by the DISTRICT.
