Common use of Competitive Area Clause in Contracts

Competitive Area. 1. For the purpose of this article, “competitive area” is defined as: a. Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center employees compete center wide. b. Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center employees in the Denver field office compete office-wide. 2. Either party can initiate negotiations in order to expand the definition of the competitive area, as long as it will not result in undue disruption to employees subject to the displacement process.
