Common use of Competitive Level Clause in Contracts

Competitive Level. Consists of all positions, occupied or vacant, which are (1) in the same series and grade as the affected employee's current position or (2) in a closely related series at his/her current grade. These positions must be so similar in all important respects that the affected employee might be reassigned to that position with no special training.
