Compliance to Engineer’s Instructions. The Engineer shall direct the sequence in which the several parts of the works shall be executed and the Contractor shall execute without delay all orders given by the Engineer from time to time; but the Contractor shall not be relieved thereby from responsibility for the due performance of the works in all respects.

The Engineer shall direct the sequence order in which the several parts of the works shall be executed and the Contractor shall execute without delay all orders given by the Engineer from time to time; time but the Contractor shall not be relieved thereby from responsibility for the due performance of the works in all respects. 20 (2) Alterations to be authorized :- No alterations in or additions to or omissions or abandonment of any part of the works shall be deemed authorized, except under instructions from the Engineer, and the Contractor shall be responsible to obtain such instructions in each and every case in writing from the Engineer.
