Compliance with Prevailing Wage Requirement Clause Samples

The Compliance with Prevailing Wage Requirement clause obligates parties, typically contractors or employers, to pay workers at least the minimum wage rates established by law or government regulation for specific types of work. In practice, this means that all employees working on a covered project must receive wages and benefits that meet or exceed the prevailing rates set by relevant authorities, such as the Department of Labor. This clause ensures fair compensation for workers and helps prevent underpayment, thereby promoting equitable labor standards and reducing the risk of legal disputes over wage violations.
