Common use of Compliance with the Security Rule Clause in Contracts

Compliance with the Security Rule. Business Associate shall implement appropriate safeguards to prevent unauthorized use or disclosure of PHI. Such safeguards shall include administrative, physical or technical safeguards that reasonably and appropriately protect the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of PHI in accordance with to prevent use or disclosure of PHI other than as permitted by this Business Associate Agreement and as required by the Security Rule.
