Common use of Computing Time Clause in Contracts

Computing Time. In computing any period of time prescribed or allowed by this Agreement for taking some action, the following rules shall apply: (a) The day of the act, event or occurrence from which the designated period of time begins shall not be included or counted; and (b) The last day of the designated period of time shall be included or counted, unless it is a Saturday, a Sunday or a Holiday, in which case the period runs until the end of the next day which is not one of these aforementioned days.
