Concealed Weapons. As a result of integration into the Department and the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act of 2004, current Unit members and qualified retired employees shall be authorized to carry concealed weapons while off duty. This authorization is contingent upon meeting the criteria set forth in 18 U.S. Code 926 B and 926 C.
