Common use of Conditioning Clause in Contracts

Conditioning. CLEC may order conditioning of shared lines, which may involve: (a) the removal of bridge taps, filter, extenders and load coils; (b) a line and station transfer; and/or (c) Digital Added Main Line (DAML) (consistent with the provisions of section 2.13 of this Agreement). VERIZON will perform loop conditioning if the loop loss for voice services is less than –8.0dB. Conditioning will not be provided in circumstances where such conditioning significantly degrades other advanced services or traditional voice band services as provided and described in FCC Rules 51.230, 51.233 and paragraphs 85, 86 and 201-205 of the Line Sharing Order.
