Common use of Conditions Preceding Clause in Contracts

Conditions Preceding. The fulfillment of the terms and conditions of this Policy (including the realization of premium by their respective due dates) in so far as they relate to anything to be done or complied with by You or any Insured Person or any person acting on their behalf, including complying with the following steps, shall be the Condition Precedent to the admissibility of a claim. Completed claim forms and the necessary processing documents must be furnished to Us within the stipulated timelines for all claims. Failure to furnish this documentation within the time required shall not invalidate nor reduce any claim if Policyholder/ Insured Person can satisfy Us in writing that it was not reasonably possible for the required forms/ documents to be submitted within such time. The due notification, submission of necessary documents and compliance with requirements as provided under this Section III, shall be a Condition Precedent failing which We shall not be bound to accept a claim.
