Conduct of Logging. Unless otherwise specifically provided herein, Purchaser shall cut designated timber and shall remove the portions that meet utilization standards in Part A of the contract. Purchaser’s logging methods shall not damage lands, property or other environmental, cultural, or property interests of the Indians or Government. Purchaser shall employ best management practices and other appropriate procedures for the protection of air, soil and water quality. The operation of all equipment shall be subject to such restrictions as the Officer in Charge may prescribe. Purchaser shall be responsible for any unauthorized cutting or damage committed by Purchaser and his or her agents, contractors, subcontractors, employees or invitees.
