Common use of Confirmation of Commencement and Termination Clause in Contracts

Confirmation of Commencement and Termination. The Landlord and the Tenant shall upon either’s request therefor, within fifteen (15) days after, respectively, (a) the commencement of the Term and (b) the expiration of the Term or any earlier termination of this Lease by action of law or in any other manner, confirm in writing by instrument in recordable form that, respectively, such commencement or such termination has occurred, setting forth therein the Commencement Date and the Termination Date.
