Contiguous Time Sample Clauses

Contiguous Time. These minimums shall not apply to situations where the call back is contiguous with the commencement or end of the employee’s regularly scheduled work shift. In that situation, the employee shall receive applicable overtime compensation for all time actually worked beyond the regularly scheduled work shift.
Contiguous Time. This minimum hour guarantee shall not apply if the court or hearing appearance is contiguous with the commencement or end of the employee’s regularly scheduled work shift. In that situation, the employee shall receive overtime compensation at the following rate. Any subpoena received with an appearance time of two (2) hours prior to the commencement of the employee’s work shift will receive two (2) hours compensation at the overtime pay rate. Any subpoena received with an appearance time of one (1) hour prior to the commencement of the employee’s work shift will receive one (1) hour compensation at the overtime pay rate. Officers who receive subpoenas for separate cases on the same day that overlap minimum hour designations are entitled to contiguous time as opposed to separate three/four hour minimums.

  • Monday morning The employee should not work more than 16 hours without an 8 hour break.

  • Show Up Time An employee who reports to work in the usual manner without having been notified that there is no work available and is sent home because of lack of work before having worked four (4) hours shall receive a minimum of four (4) hours pay at their prevailing hourly rate. The employee shall also receive their full accommodation allowance if and when applicable. Each employee must inform the Employer of a means of being contacted on short notice. If an attempt is made by the Employer at least two (2) hours before the employee’s shift commences by way of the contact information provided, in an effort to inform the employee of a lack of work, and the Employer is unable to do so, the employee will not be entitled to show up time.

  • Personal Time Employees shall be eligible to take accrued PTO time for personal reasons. Such time must be scheduled in advance in accordance with Employer policies and be approved by the employee's supervisor. Personal time PTO must be taken in at least one-hour increments.

  • Central Time After all Parties have been notified, the provisions of paragraphs (b) and (c) of this Section 2.1 shall apply.”

  • WASH-UP TIME 37.01 Where the Employer determines there is a clear-cut need, wash-up time, to a maximum of ten (10) minutes immediately before the end of a work period, will be permitted.
