Contingency Allowance Sample Clauses
A Contingency Allowance clause establishes a set amount of funds within a contract to cover unforeseen costs or changes that may arise during the course of a project. This allowance is typically included in construction or service agreements and can be used for unexpected expenses such as design modifications, regulatory changes, or minor errors and omissions. By providing a financial buffer, the clause helps manage risk and ensures that the project can proceed smoothly without delays or disputes over additional costs.
