Common use of Contingency Fee Clause in Contracts

Contingency Fee. Provider represents that it has not paid or agreed to pay any person or entity, other than a bona fide employee working solely for Provider, any fee, commission, percentage, gift, or other consideration contingent upon or resulting from the award or making of this Agreement. If County learns that this representation is false, County shall have the right to terminate this Agreement without any further liability to Provider. Alternatively, if such representation is false, County, at its sole discretion, may deduct from the compensation due Provider under this Agreement the full amount of such fee, commission, percentage, gift, or consideration.
