Common use of Contingency Operations Clause in Contracts

Contingency Operations. A. SVHC and its affiliates must have an overall contingency plan and supporting procedures for responding to an emergency (i.e. system failure, fire, natural disaster, vandalism, etc) that compromises the confidentiality, integrity and/or availability of ePHI, or other mission critical, confidential and/or proprietary data contained in their environment. B. This plan must be documented and must include procedures for data backup, periodic system criticality analysis, disaster recovery plan (DRP), emergency mode operations plan, and procedures for periodic testing and revision of the contingency plan.
