Common use of Continuous Engagement Clause in Contracts

Continuous Engagement. Continuous engagement of the Artist is of the essence of all COA Engagement Contracts. Engagement thereunder shall begin on the date of the beginning of rehearsals or required date, if earlier, and shall continue until the final date specified on the face of the COA Engagement Contract or until the COA Engagement Contract is terminated. All calculations of sums due or benefits accruing to the Artist shall be computed on the basis of consecutive rehearsals and consecutive engagement, except where amended by this Agreement.
