Common use of Continuous Service Breaks Clause in Contracts

Continuous Service Breaks. Continuous service shall be broken and the employment relationship shall be terminated when an employee: A. quits; B. is discharged for just cause; C. retires; D. falsifies the reason for a leave of absence; E. fails to report to work at the conclusion of an authorized leave of absence; F. is laid off and fails to report for work within ten (10) days after having been recalled pursuant to Article 12; or G. is absent from work due to an occupational or non-occupational illness or injury for a continuous period in excess of eighteen (18) months.
