Priority is given to full-time degree seeking students. Residents who change from full-time status to another status during the contract period are not relieved of their responsibilities under this contract. Violation of any part of the contract can result in the removal from housing.
3.1.1 Convictions, Pending Charges, or Removal from Housing: On-campus housing may be denied to students with a criminal and/or behavioral history, including prior receipt of disciplinary sanctions at another institution which resulted in expulsion, suspension, or removal from university housing. Students must share this information on the housing application (or via email to livingon- ▇▇▇▇▇▇@▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇ if after submitting the housing application) and submit the following information via email or in writing to the Director of Housing Services, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇ ▇▇▇▇, ▇▇▇▇▇▇, ▇▇ ▇▇▇▇▇: • Detailed statement of explanation; and, • Include first/last name, NetID, and contact information in the correspondence. Once the statement of explanation is reviewed, applicants will be contacted regarding eligibility.
3.1.2 On-Campus Apartments: In general, incoming new Storrs freshman are not assigned to live in on-campus apartments during their first year in on-campus housing.
