CONTRACT ELIGIBILITY. Any University of Connecticut student may apply for on-campus housing. Only students considered to be Storrs campus students are eligible to live in Storrs on-campus housing. Only students considered to be Stamford campus students are eligible to live in Stamford on-campus housing. Exceptions to eligibility include students enrolled exclusively in online courses, students removed from on-campus housing through the community standards process, and students dismissed from the University for scholastic reasons are not eligible for residence on the University campus for one semester. The University does not unlawfully discriminate in any of its education or employment programs and activities on the basis of an individual’s race, color, ethnicity, religious creed, age, sex, marital status, national origin, ancestry, sexual orientation, genetic information, physical or mental disability (including learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, and past or present history of mental illness), veteran’s status, prior conviction of a crime, workplace hazards to the reproductive system, gender identity or expression, or membership in any other protected classes as set forth in state or federal law. Priority is given to full-time degree seeking students. Residents who change from full-time status to another status during the contract period are not relieved of their responsibilities under this contract.
