Contract Extension (No Cost Extension Sample Clauses

A Contract Extension (No Cost Extension) clause allows the parties to extend the duration of a contract without increasing the original contract price. This clause typically applies when additional time is needed to complete the agreed-upon work due to unforeseen delays, but no extra funds are required. For example, a project deadline may be pushed back to accommodate unexpected circumstances, while the overall budget remains unchanged. The core function of this clause is to provide flexibility in contract timelines without altering the financial terms, ensuring that both parties can fulfill their obligations without renegotiating costs.
