Common use of CONTRACT PARTICIPATION Clause in Contracts

CONTRACT PARTICIPATION. Any public body, public or private health or educational institutions, or Virginia Tech’s affiliated corporations and/or partnerships may access any resulting contract/purchase order if authorized by the contractor. Participating entities shall place their own order(s) directly with the Contractor and shall fully and independently administer their use of the contract/purchase order to include contractual disputes, invoicing and payments without direct administration from Virginia Tech. Virginia Tech shall not be held liable for any costs or damages incurred by any other participating entity as a result of any authorization by the Contractor to extend the contract/purchase order. It is understood and agreed that Virginia Tech is not responsible for the acts or omissions of any entity, and will not be considered in default of the contract/purchase order no matter the circumstances.
