Common use of Contract Term and Renewal Clause in Contracts

Contract Term and Renewal. This Contract shall be effective upon the Effective Date and shall expire June 30, 2021, ending at 11:59 pm (the “Initial Term”). The Authorities may elect to renew this Contract on the same terms and conditions for up to two (2) renewal periods with a term of up to one (1) year each (each a “Renewal Term”). Renewal of this Contract shall be at the sole discretion of the Authorities. The Initial Term and any Renewal Term may be referred to collectively as the "Term." Any extension of the Term of the Contract must be in writing and signed by the Parties to the Contract.
