Contract Training. Joint Association and Medical Center trainings will be 10 conducted for interested registered nurses, regarding changes to Agreement and areas 11 where the parties agree there are many questions. The training will be jointly designed 12 and provided by the Association and Medical Center Human Resources. The training 13 will be held a minimum of four times, (twice within 90 days of ratification of this 14 Agreement, and twice more within 90 days of the one-year anniversary of this 15 Agreement) in order to reach interested parties on different units and shifts. The 16 training will be scheduled for a time not to exceed 90 minutes unless the parties agree 17 otherwise. Trainings will include new contract changes, new or emerging issues, 18 ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ rights, information available to staff, personnel and grievance practices, and 19 seniority, job posting and hiring provisions. All registered nurses who attend the 20 training will be paid for the time attending such training (which will be designated as 21 “meeting time”). All charge and relief charge registered nurses are encouraged to 22 attend at least one training each year.
