Contracting or Subcontracting Sample Clauses

The Contracting or Subcontracting clause defines the conditions under which a party to the agreement may delegate its obligations or portions of the work to third parties. Contracting or Subcontracting. Any work that is allowed to be contracted or subcontracted under this Agreement shall be subject, by the terms of the contract or subcontract, to every provision of this Agreement. Compliance with this provision shall be the responsibility of the Party who arranged the contract or authorized the subcontract. Except as otherwise expressly stated in this Agreement, no Party shall be liable or have a financial obligation to or for any contractor, subcontractor, supplier, or other person or entity with which the other Party contracts or has a contractual arrangement.
Contracting or Subcontracting. The employer shall not contract or subcontract any work that is normally performed by a teacher or itinerant staff that would cause a reduction of that individual’s regularly scheduled work hours. The employer retains the right to contract or subcontract work which cannot be performed during the regular work schedule or for which equipment and/or material is unavailable to attain the desired quality.

Contracting or Subcontracting. It is the declared intention of the Employer to provide for the job security of the employees covered by the terms of this Agreement to the extent consistent with the obligation of the Employer to undertake the operations and administration of the University of Toronto in the most efficient and economic manner possible in order that it may satisfactorily discharge its public responsibilities. It is agreed that any full-time employee with the exception of apprentices with two (2) years of service or more shall not be laid off by reason of the Employer contracting out work being performed by such employee.

  • Subcontracting 6.1 The Grantee is responsible for the performance of its obligations under this Agreement, including in relation to any tasks undertaken by subcontractors. 6.2 The Grantee agrees to make available to the Commonwealth the details of any of its subcontractors engaged to perform any tasks in relation to this Agreement upon request.

  • Assignment or Subcontracting The terms, covenants, and conditions contained herein shall apply to and bind the heirs, successors, executors, administrators and assigns of the parties. Furthermore, neither the performance of this Contract nor any portion thereof may be assigned or subcontracted by Contractor without the express written consent of County. Any attempt by Contractor to assign or sub-contract the performance or any portion thereof of this Contract without the express written consent of County shall be invalid and shall constitute a breach of this Contract.

  • Subcontractor A contractor and/or supplier who is under contract with Developer or with any other subcontractor, regardless of tier, to perform a portion of the Work of the Project.

  • HUB Subcontracting Plan The Owner has adopted Exhibit H, Policy on Utilization of Historically Underutilized Business ("Policy"), which is incorporated herein by reference. Contractor, as a provision of the Agreement must comply with the requirements of the Policy and adhere to the HUB Subcontracting Plan submitted with Contractor's Proposal and attached as Exhibit I. No changes to the HUB Subcontracting Plan can be made by the Contractor without the prior written approval of the Owner in accordance with the Policy.
