Contractor-Subcontractor Relations Clause Samples

The Contractor-Subcontractor Relations clause defines the working relationship and responsibilities between the main contractor and any subcontractors engaged on a project. It typically outlines the contractor’s authority to hire, supervise, and coordinate subcontractors, as well as the requirement for subcontractors to comply with the main contract’s terms and standards. This clause ensures that all parties understand their roles and obligations, helping to maintain project quality and accountability while minimizing disputes over scope, performance, or liability.
