CONTRACTOR’S GENERAL OBLIGATIONS Sample Clauses
The "Contractor’s General Obligations" clause defines the fundamental duties and responsibilities that the contractor must fulfill under the contract. Typically, this includes requirements such as performing the work in accordance with the agreed specifications, complying with relevant laws and regulations, and ensuring that all necessary resources, materials, and personnel are provided. For example, the contractor may be responsible for maintaining a safe worksite and delivering the project on schedule. The core function of this clause is to clearly outline the contractor’s baseline commitments, thereby setting expectations and reducing the risk of disputes over performance standards.
