Common use of CONTRACTOR’S PROPERTY Clause in Contracts

CONTRACTOR’S PROPERTY. (a) The Contractor will be solely responsible for the care, custody and control of the Contractor’s property when providing the Work at the Site. (b) OPG assumes no responsibility or liability for the Contractor’s property. (c) The Contractor will provide adequate Contractor’s equipment to perform the Work in accordance with the approved construction schedule. The Contractor will regularly inspect the Contractor’s equipment and maintain same in good working order. The Contractor will be required to complete OPG’s Safety Certification form each time a machine is brought on to a Site and at intervals as required by OPG’s Representative. (d) The Contractor will confine its materials, supplies, Goods and the Contractor’s equipment to the Site and to such location(s) as are designated by OPG’s Representative. The Contractor will ensure that temporary structures of the Contractor and its Subcontractors do not interfere with the work of other companies or of OPG, and are removed as soon as no longer needed.
