Common use of COOPERATIVE WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM Clause in Contracts

COOPERATIVE WORK EXPERIENCE PROGRAM. Any changes to the program will be negotiated. EXPECTATIONS: FACULTY Faculty who participate in the Cooperative Work Experience program will be expected to do the following: 1. attend an orientation session (only required once) 2. maintain appropriate student records 3. initiate and complete all of the specified components of the program PROGRAM COMPONENTS: 1. Meet with student at campus site to assist in development of objectives. Such objectives must be written in a measurable format. 2. Visit job site and meet with student’s supervisor. Obtain agreement with supervisor and student which results in sign-off for objectives on appropriate form. 3. At end of course, obtain completed self-evaluation from student. Visit supervisor at job site and obtain supervisor’s evaluation of student’s completion of objectives. 4. Meet with student to finalize evaluation, discuss self-evaluation, determine if objectives were met. Assign grade to student, using appropriate format.
