Cost Center Clause Samples

A Cost Center clause defines a specific department, unit, or segment within an organization to which certain costs or expenses are allocated. In practice, this clause identifies which part of the business will be responsible for the financial obligations arising from the contract, such as payments for goods, services, or project expenses. By clearly assigning financial responsibility, the clause ensures accurate budgeting, accountability, and internal tracking of expenditures, thereby preventing confusion or disputes over which department bears particular costs.
