Common use of COST OF POOR QUALITY RECOVERY (COPQ) Clause in Contracts

COST OF POOR QUALITY RECOVERY (COPQ). 6.8.1 The supplier shall be responsible for all costs incurred by ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Scientific and its customers in conjunction with any failure of the supplied product. ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Scientific may take immediate actions to satisfy customer requirements while notification of the issue is provided to the supplier. 6.8.2 ▇▇▇▇▇▇ Scientific will notify the supplier of the details regarding costs incurred. The supplier shall respond to the notification within 10 business days of receipt. Potential costs incurred include, but are not limited to:  Incoming inspections  Necessary sorting activities  Analysis of warranty and field returns  Production downtime  Additional labor costs including overtime and extra manpower  Additional inspections or process controls  Management and Administration Cost
