Common use of Cost Reduction Clause in Contracts

Cost Reduction. Buyer and Seller agree that the parties will share the benefits of any and all cost reduction efforts on a 70/30 split. The split will be allocated 70% to the originator of the cost reduction effort and 30% to the other party, via unit cost reduction, after Seller's implementation costs are recovered.
