Common use of Coveralls Clause in Contracts

Coveralls. The Employer will supply clean coveralls, free of charge to employees who are required to perform work for maintenance, repair and operational purposes and/or where exposure to adverse elements is routine while performing their regular duties. (a) Wearing of coveralls is mandatory for maintenance employees who are working in areas in view of the public. (b) Coveralls will be cleaned on a regular basis by the Employer at no cost to the employee. (c) Worn or damaged coveralls will be replaced by the Employer at no charge to the employee upon return of the coveralls to the Employer. (d) Coveralls shall be signed out to employees and shall remain the property of the Employer. (e) Employees are responsible for the safekeeping, care and return of the coveralls issued and signed out to them.
