Cremation Residue Clause Samples

The 'Cremation Residue' clause defines how the remains left after a cremation are to be handled or disposed of. Typically, this clause specifies who has the authority to collect the ashes, how they should be stored, scattered, or otherwise managed, and may outline any preferences or restrictions set by the deceased or their family. Its core practical function is to ensure that the wishes regarding the final disposition of cremated remains are respected and clearly communicated, thereby preventing disputes or confusion among survivors.
