Critical Thresholds Clause Samples

The Critical Thresholds clause defines specific limits or benchmarks that, when reached or exceeded, trigger certain actions or consequences within an agreement. For example, it may set a maximum allowable delay in project completion or a minimum performance standard, and if these thresholds are crossed, remedies such as penalties, renegotiation, or termination may be initiated. This clause serves to clearly establish the points at which significant contractual responses are required, thereby managing risk and ensuring both parties are aware of the boundaries that must not be crossed.
