Common use of Currency Conversions Clause in Contracts

Currency Conversions. 23.1 The Company is entitled, without prior notice to the Client, to effect any currency conversions which it deems necessary or desirable in order to make a deposit into the Client Account in the Currency of the Client Account (in the event that the Client deposits money in a different currency of that of the Currency of the Client Account) or comply with its obligations or exercise its rights under this Agreement or complete any specific Transaction or Order. Any such conversion shall be made by the Company at reasonable exchange rates as the company shall select, having regards to the prevailing market rates. The Company shall be entitled to charge to the Client and obtain from the Client Account or from the deposited amount the expenses incurred with regard to currency conversions for the Client, including commissions to banks, money transfer fees, commissions to intermediaries. 23.2 The Client will bear all foreign currency exchange risk arising from any Transaction or the exercise by the Company of its rights under the Agreement or any law.
