Current Employee. a) A current employee’s appointment or promotion to a position will be subject to a probationary period of three (3) months. The probationary period may be extended by express agreement between the parties to this Agreement. b) Subject to satisfactory performance an employee’s appointment will be confirmed at the conclusion of the probationary period. c) During the probationary period, if the employee’s performance is not satisfactory, the Employer may give the employee one (1) weeks’ notice and return the employee to the classification held immediately prior to the employee’s appointment to the new position.
