Common use of Current Expense Clause in Contracts

Current Expense. Agency's obligation to make Payments hereunder constitutes a current obligation payable exclusively from Legally Available Funds and shall not be construed to be an indebtedness within the meaning of any applicable constitutional or statutory limitation or requirement. Neither Agency nor the State nor any political subdivision or agency thereof has pledged any of its full faith and credit or its taxing power to make any Payments under this Contract.
