Curtailment for a National Security or Defense Purpose. Upon request by either DoD party, Project Owner agrees to immediately curtail wind turbine operations for a national security or defense purpose utilizing the communication protocol set out in Attachment C. Such curtailment may not be requested except for a national security or defense purpose. Curtailment for a national security or defense purpose will be temporary in nature and extend only so long as is absolutely necessary to meet the discrete, temporary, and stated national security or defense purpose.
