Custom Publishing. In accordance with Section 3.e hereof, if the LP requires promotional materials in comic book format, the LP shall engage Marvel to produce and (if the LP requires printed paper copies) print any such materials, and Marvel shall perform such services at rates not exceeding Marvel’s standard rates for comparable custom publishing.
Custom Publishing. Per-page pricing of Books, or portions thereof, for course materials, and other forms of custom publishing for the educational and professional markets.File Download. This service would permit purchasers of Consumer Purchase for a Book to download a copy of such Book in an appropriate file format such as PDF, EPUB or other format for use on electronic book reading devices, mobile phones, portable media players and other electronic devices (“File Download”).
Custom Publishing. On all copies of custom editions of the Work or material from the Work in print or electronic media created primarily for a particular institution 5% of Net Receipts (such royalty will be proportionately based on the amount of material included in the product compared to the total amount of material in such product as provided in Paragraph A6 of this Schedule). In the event that the Publisher utilizes only small portions or quotes from the Work, a permission fee equal to the Author’s share of the standard fee for permissions (as provided in B1.6 below) will be paid to the Author.

  • SUPPLIER PUBLICATIONS Any marketing materials in relation to this Framework Agreement that that Supplier produces must comply in all respects with the Branding Guidance. The Supplier will periodically update and revise such marketing materials.

  • RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION 29 CONTRACTOR shall not utilize information and/or data received from COUNTY, or arising out 30 of, or developed, as a result of this Agreement for the purpose of personal or professional research, or 31 for publication. 32

  • Approval for Publishing The Author shall proofread the page proofs for the Contribution provided by or on behalf of the Publisher, including checking the illustrations as well as any media, social or functional enhancements and give approval for publishing, if and when requested by the Publisher. The Author’s approval for publishing is deemed to have been given if the Author does not respond within a reasonable period of time (as determined by the Publisher) after receiving the proofs nor contacts the Publisher within three days after receipt of the last of three reminders sent by the Publisher via email. The Publisher shall not be required to send a second set of corrected proofs unless specifically requested by the Author in writing but in any event no further amendments may be made or requested by the Author. In the event of co-authors having entered into this Agreement the Publisher shall send the page proofs to the Corresponding Author only and all persons entering into this Agreement as Author agree that the Corresponding Author shall correct and approve the page proofs on their behalf. If the Author makes changes other than correcting typographical errors, the Author shall bear all the Publisher's costs of such alterations to proofs including without limitation to alterations to pictorial illustrations. The Publisher shall have the right to charge and invoice these costs plus value added or similar taxes (if applicable) through its affiliated company Springer Nature Customer Service Center GmbH or Springer Nature Customer Service Center LLC, respectively, to the Author, payable within 14 days of receipt of the invoice.

  • DELIVERY AND PUBLISHING 4.1. ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science offers publishing via a variety of methods. The parties agree that, at a minimum, and subject to the terms of this Agreement, the Work shall be published in the subscription journal specified, in Schedule 3: Publishing. Additionally, if so specified in the space provided in Schedule 3: Publishing in respect of “Open Access Plus”, and subject to the commercial terms specified therein and the other terms of this Agreement, the Work shall be made available, by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science, on an open access basis under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC- BY 4.0), a copy of which is available at: ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/licenses/by/4.0/legalcode . 4.2. The Assignor may, if so specified in the space provided in Schedule 1: Details of the Work, opt to have ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science, or its third party contractor, provide a short animated video summarising the salient aspects of the Work, on the basis that all rights, title and interest in such short animated video shall become part of the Work for the purposes of this Agreement. The provision of such service by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science or its third party contractor shall be subject to the prevailing terms and rates relating to such service. Such animated video shall be made available, by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science, on an open access basis under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Public License (CC-BY-NC-ND 4.0), a copy of which is available at ▇▇▇▇▇://▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇.▇▇▇/licenses/by-nc-nd/4.0/, and ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science shall retain all rights to exploit the video commercially. 4.3. The Assignor undertakes to provide to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science, by the deadline specified in Schedule 1: Details of the Work (the “Submission Deadline”), an electronic copy of the Work in a high-quality, professionally prepared, production-ready format. The Assignor undertakes to ensure that all pages of the Work so submitted have been proof-read carefully, and that all diagrams, illustrations, figures and captions, are of excellent quality, with regard to both substance and form. 4.4. The Assignor represents and warrants that the Work has been prepared in accordance with the relevant Guidelines, and checked for all possible linguistic inconsistencies and errors, including grammar, style and typography, by someone with a high command of the English language and familiarity with academic writing in the English language. (“Guidelines” means the Instructions to Authors available on the ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science website, as well as the Aims & Scope applicable to the relevant ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science publication). ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science’s nominated service provider, ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science, offers English language support services which Assignor may elect to utilise in respect of the Work by completing the applicable box in Schedule 1: Details of the Work. The provision of such services by ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ Science shall be subject to ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇ 2 [v.122016] Science’s prevailing terms and rates relating to such type of optional support.

  • Non-Publication The parties mutually agree not to disclose publicly the terms of this Agreement except to the extent that disclosure is mandated by applicable law or regulation or to their respective advisors (e.g., attorneys, accountants).
