CUTTING, FITTING, AND PATCHING. EPC Contractor shall be responsible for all cutting, fitting or patching of existing conditions required to complete the Work or to make its parts fit together properly; provided that the foregoing shall not impose any obligation on EPC Contractor to be responsible for the repair of any existing conditions at the Project Site or the Property that are unrelated to the performance of the Scope of Work and the System, including but not limited to the repair or replacement of the roof at the Property.
