Daily Engagements. Where daily hires are not confirmed by 3pm the day before commencement, the Worker is deemed to have not been hired and can accept other work. If the Worker is confirmed by 3pm on the day before the engagement is due to commence and then cancelled by a representative of the Producer through no fault of the Worker the day before the engagement is due to commence, the Producer will pay the Worker for one day at the agreed daily rate.
