Common use of Damage to Terrain Clause in Contracts

Damage to Terrain. Any operations disturbing the soil surface, including road building and construction and movement of heavy equipment in support of or relating to specific geothermal exploration or development activities shall be conducted in such manner as will not result in unreasonable damage to trees and plant cover, soil erosion, or in degradation of waters of the State, including fish and aquatic life habitat. Lessee will conduct its operations in a manner that will not unreasonably interfere with the enjoyment of the leased lands by the occupier or persons residing on or near the leased lands.
