Damaged Timber Clause Samples

The Damaged Timber clause defines the responsibilities and procedures when timber is found to be damaged during a project or transaction. Typically, this clause outlines how damaged timber should be identified, reported, and either repaired, replaced, or compensated for, depending on the agreement. For example, it may specify that the supplier must replace any timber that arrives with structural defects or visible damage. The core function of this clause is to ensure that only quality timber is used or delivered, protecting parties from losses due to substandard materials and clarifying the process for addressing such issues.
