Data Management. The sector vessels will be transmitting catch data electronically via the email 29 messaging component of their VMS units. All data necessary for sector ACE management, including 30 all elements of VTR logbook and daily / weekly reporting requirements will be sent in compressed 31 formats to minimize characters and maximize message capacity. Notwithstanding reporting 32 requirements that cannot be altered by a sectors operations plan, the Sector’s server will be 33 capable of collecting, storing, converting and relay all data elements necessary to meet all reporting 34 requirements in the formats required by the recipients 35 36 The Sector, acting through its Manager, will maintain database(s) of vessel trip reports (VTR), dealer, 37 At‐Sea (ASM), and NEFOP Observer reports. In addition, the Sector will maintain any other database 38 it determines necessary for its operations.
