Dates of Manufacture and Expiration. The product certificate of compliance (the “COC”) for each batch shall utilize a month/year format of MM/YY. The date of expiration on the formal packaging work order batch record shall utilize the format of MM/YYYY. DSM will determine the actual date of manufacture (the “DOM”) for each batch. The date of expiry shall be the last day of the month of the period of expiry, as computed from the DOM, minus one calendar month. EXAMPLE: If product is manufactured on any day during February, 2004 with a one-year expiry, the date of expiration would be assigned as January 31, 2005. The date of expiration on the formal packaging work order batch record will utilized the format of MM/YYYY, in this example printed as 01/2005. The expiration date to appear on the Certificate of Compliance will have the format of the batch master (MM/YY) which in this example would be 01/05.
