Common use of Daywork Clause in Contracts

Daywork. The percentage allowances to cover overhead charges for daywork which has not been included in the Daywork Schedule, are as follows: 50% of the gross remuneration of workmen and foremen actually engaged in the daywork; and 25% on the net cost of materials actually used No allowance will be made for work done, or for materials and equipment for which daywork rates have been quoted at tender stage.
