When a death benefit is payable following the death of the contractholder after conversion of the contract associated with the SSQ LIF plan to an annuity, this death benefit is administered in accordance with Section A.V.2. “Annuity Contract and Retirement Plan Riders – Benefit Payable Upon Death of Annuitant - Death of Annuitant After Conversion to Annuity” and “RIDER – SSQ Life Income Fund (SSQ LIF) – Conversion to Annuity” of the present contract.
